1, 2, 3, 4, while shaking in a circle) with right leg – 16 counts

Sit, sit, sit, kick (hip drop, hip drop, hip drop, front hip kick), right leg 4 - sets - 16 counts

Grape vine, then with bust shake to left - 8 counts, hop, right - 8 counts

Hip-pistons (up-down) start with left, 3 down, 3 up, 3 down, 3 up - 16 counts

Sit-kick, in a circle left leg, – left leg (8 counts) - sit kick right, sit kick left (8 count)

3-point turn, kick (Jodette) left, right, left, right – 16 count

Kick front, kick back (same leg) in a circle starting with left leg – 16 count

Warm-up

Basic fast shimmy entrance - This can be done as at fast walk using a shimmy. It is designed to get you in quickly. Great for going through the audience, use a turn in the middle, or snake walk on your way in.

Half-moon turning in a circle forward

Half-moon turning in a circle backward

Pivot turn, ending in half moon position

Leg circle spin, (fast) ending in shaking position

Step-kick Entrance - (using front hip kick) - Used for walking backward, forward, or in place. - Basic position, front step kick, lift front foot, put back down, take a step with other leg, front hip kick, repeat. Also known as BASIC EGYPTIAN WALK. Good for basic entrances.

* Cross step kick – same move only with a cross in your step, and sit kick side – used for slow entrance

Sit-kick in a circle (baladi)

Little pushy turn (belly dance stance, push foot in front little bits at a time to turn you body in a circle - let back foot be a compass point (Pirouette)

Reaching out turn – reach out toward horizon with left arm, turn on right foot, reach out again, turn, reach out etc – used with veil head wrap, used during slow music

Exaggerated hip walk entrance (forward walk with hip leading and torso pulled back)

3-point turn, with kick (Jodette) turning in circle – step left, right, left (turning), left side kick, turn back in, opposite

1,2,3 – Sit Kick Entrance - step left leg, right leg, left leg - sit kick right, then right, left, right, set kick left (baladi)

Barrel roll (spin) - using arms

Zig-Zag entrance - 1, 2, 3, 4, ((1) lift right leg and hip, like stepping over a stool, stepping down, (2) left step (3) right step - this is a zig-zag walk)

Skippity entrance - step left, step left - step right, step right - (with a small skip), with arms moving side to side

Gypsy turn - jump onto leg, spin on leg, jump onto same leg, repeat (always with jump on same leg) (body bent slightly back like flaminco style) Great with tamborine

1,2,3 Cha, Cha, Cha, entrance (step right, left, right, step onto back foot, chasse (one foot literally chases the other foot out of its position) .1,2,3 {cha, cha, cha) (walk is May West) (Fatiem)

1,2,3 Sit-kick entrance - walk left, right, left, sit-kick right - right, left, right, sit kick left (baladi)

Camelwalk entrance – Basic undulation walk using same leg (single leg walk)

Peacock entrance (Both sides camelwalk), left leg, then right leg (with undulation) - slow beautiful
